Expedition of Baikal-Adventure team to the Northern Baikal and BAM rail road area. (October 2006)

 Ethnographical expedition to the last settelment of Evenk people and exploration of old prisons of former USSR times (GULAG). Expedition "L`Odyssy Siberienne", Nicolas Vanier, Fr.
27 November - 19 March Winter 2005 - 2006

For winter season 2005 - 2006 I (Anton Kuzmin) was hired to work with French expedition "L`Odyssee Siberienne" of famous adventure traveller Nicolas Vanier.  Expedition had covered route distance over 8000 km from Baikal lake through wild and cold Siberian lands up to Moskow. The main idea of expedition - to make a journey on dogteam sledge across whole Siberia in one winter and to make movie about that trip.

I have worked for expedition like a translator, pathfinder and trailbreaker on snowmachine. The expedition had covered the distance over 8.5 thousand km through wintry Russia for a period of 3.5 months.

Expedition "Baikal-Belukha", Twan van Bakel and Monique van den Broek, Netherlands. Summer 2005

Baikal-Adventure company has organized informational, logistic and equipment support for Baikal-Belukha expedition. Project started with cycling from Baikal lake through Tunka valley (Sayanas mountains) and continued with trekking and climbing trip to Munku-Sardik peak (3495). After that travellers made a  pass over to the Tuva republic.
